Youth PitchDox, presented by Hoodox and the Indiana Youth Film Festival, is an invitation to Hoosier filmmakers ages 12-24 to submit a documentary project concept for a chance to win a $2,500 financial award to support the production of their film.

The competition consists of four qualifying rounds:

  1. Project submissions

  2. Finalists selected

  3. Pitch workshop and coaching sessions

  4. Finalist pitches

To be eligible, projects must be presented by individual or small teams of Indiana-based high school or college-aged filmmakers. Projects must be unfinished short form (5 minutes or less) documentary projects.

Finalists will present their 5 minute pitches at Indiana Youth Film Festival, June 26-28 2026.

Project submissions must be received by 11:59 EST on May 31, 2026.
